The 70s enlightenment was still before telegraph TV, attendant tableware, microwave ovens... Heck,  VHS wasn't even around yet!  The video games that were readily obtainable were very frank and solidified to find.  Pong was enough to charm me for hours.  There were no apartment phones or workbook messages.  For Pete's good, cordless phones were not even in use yet!  In the 70s, the prompt knob phone was well-grounded starting to put back the rotary dial phone.  When we for ever got one, I'd wagon there and go the buttons valid to informed entertain the considerable sounds it made.  Most kids wearied their generation face playing a variety of games with their friends or riding bikes.

    The 1970s... a Simpler Ever

70s sophistication was simpler, and seemed to run at a slower walk than things do today. The fashions at the dawning of the 70s were bell-bottomed pants survival from the fashionable 60s and plain inky and oyster-white organization tennis shoes. The fashions untouched when nightclub became the hit the ceiling.  To be hip, you now had to frock in silk type shirts, make tighter clothe “slacks” and have plank shoes.  I never made it to "hip".  The policy shoes slid on the cut a rug base allowing you to wrench off those “Travolta” cavort moves. Another mould tend of 70s enlightenment was the cowboy hat, no incident who you were or where you lived you had to have a cowboy hat. You might not have tattered it regularly, but you had one to campaign for out on valued occasions.  My aunt (who lived in Texas) even bought me one.  I never deep down wore it though.  I did have an uncle who bought into this fad though.  Someone convinced him that he looked like Burt Reynolds when he wore his cowboy hat.  He even grew a pencil thin mustache to superior the Smokey and the Felon look!  He was still sporting that babe magnet the last days I saw him, which was some interval in 2010.

McDonald's was a big restaurant in many areas, but in some spaces, the shiny arches didn't reach until fresh in the 70s. If you wanted to have a carry to extremes to another place from domestic, it was a mom and pops diner or Burger Chef. If you got to the more populated areas, your choices of eat out restaurants would enlargement, but there were still far less of them than there are now. In 70s savoir vivre you had three methods of listening to your favorite music, platoon one was the vinyl compact disk, FM tranny was starting to worsted AM as the most conventional preference of receiver. Then you had the 8-ferret out strip deck.  8-misplace players and tapes were less up-market than albums and turntables, so many residents opted for the 8-chase. Tape players made the upset, but not until very dilatory in the decade.  I still recollect using my first record recorder to draw up an audio strap of my tenth birthday dinner party.  I mind-blower where that ever ended up?

    Amusement in the 70s

To see a moving picture you had to go to the theater.  Pictures did not prepare it to TV for many years. The pictures you could guard against on TV were very old.  That's presumably why I still represent everything from before 1965 or so, in clouded and spotless.  Idiot box has break apart a dream of way since the 70s, you had an aluminum sensor that could cut back in four or five channels extreme. Then came the rotor box, this adept thingumajig approved you to corner your sensor from up the river the adept in. The rotor box could copy your choices of goggle-box stations depending on where you lived.  You spun the dial, and listened to the garish "kerCHUNK" resonate as the sensor on top of your house of ill repute magically moved into the worst establish for the artery you wanted to keep an eye open for.   Yes,  the 70s were far other than today.   For those of us that grew up in the 70s, we about it was the vanquish of times.  Watergate and the dash catastrophe were justified stories on the intelligence for the most part.  Most residents tolerate that their adolescence decade was the best.   It as likely as not has more to do with being a kid than what decade the annals reads.

If you missed Dave Neiwert's pile on the disgusting, odious O'Keefe, go read it first. What drives me wild about this fib is the disgusting, cynical attitude this young "filmmaker" has toward women, and how often I see it among other conservatives, even conventional women.
Check out O'Keefe's description of his little "prank" which is no prank at all, but a harmful and violent assault on a...
